Summer is inching closer. For me, (a type A personality), that means making a list of all the activities that can keep my kids busy when they are not at camp. And by busy, I mean NOT dependent on technology. I end up purchasing grade level activity books, so math and language arts stays fresh in their minds. And I love to have them playing and building. So the BrickLoot subscription box fits right in with my plans.

I depended on BrickLoot A LOT last summer. Every time one of those boxes came, I had several brick building activities ready for them, where they would follow directions, create something cool and the end result being a new toy or accessory to keep their imaginations going.

BrickLootMasterBuilder(One of my favorite BrickLoot pieces – I have this guy at my desk at work.)

If you are not familiar with BrickLoot, it is a subscription box for brick lovers – you know, LEGOs, nanoblock, kre-o, etc. Each box is a surprise, you never know what you might find! Exclusive builds, light up bricks and minfigures. It’s amazing to see how each Brick Loot box is just so awesome and leaves you excited for the next one!

brickasaurus(This theme was Summer 2015)

I have to admit, since I saw my first BrickLoot box in November 2014, a lot has changed. The inspiration, the same. What’s inside – AMAZEBALLS! Or rather, AMAZEBRICKS. I am getting real used to exclusive Brickloot minifigs, insanely awesome Light Up Bricks, Custom Builds designed for Brick Loot subscribers with REAL LEGO PIECES and other cool builds and surprises. Plus, they are all having cool themes lately, such as #BuildIt (construction), #RiseoftheBrickBots, my most favorite BrickLoot box ever – the #Brickasaurus, and currently #ShiverMeBricks.

Now let’s see what was in March 2016’s BrickLoot box! This month’s theme – #ShiverMeBricks. Boy, this totally puts me in the mood for Pirates of the Caribbean!

BrickLootSticker

Sticker: Shiver Me Bricks – My son will LOVE this!

Exclusive Brick Loot Build: Made with 100% Real LEGO Bricks (totally the best) so you can make a Pirate Ship! So cute and teeny. It is 63 pieces and designed by Jme Wheeler.

Bricklootbuilds

Pirate Hideout Build: This is a “Made in China” build. It comes with a little area where soldiers or pirates could hide, a cannon and a treasure box with jewels.

Bricklootbrickster

Exclusive Minifigure: It’s ALL about the Minifigure for me. In this one you have Captain James Brickster. He looks mad to be captured, boxed up and sent out on an unknown voyage. He is custom printed, but his parts are 100% LEGO. The customization comes from United-Bricks.com. They use a high quality UV printing method, so James Brickster will be “treasured” for many years of play and collecting.

BricklootDisplayCase

Display Case: OMBricks! They included the coolest minifig case. It is a M-FIGZ Case. Transparent and it fits up to three minifigs. Cases can be combined to make bigger displays. THANK YOU BRICK LOOT!

BONUS: And then I was surprised with a Bonus Rugged Rig. It is a cute little build with three different possibilities.

Past Brickloot Reveals:

Overall, this month’s theme reinvigorated my love for BrickLoot. My boys always get excited for them, but I have an appreciation for certain themes – they just hit my heart (awesomely) like a ton of bricks! And I have to say, BrickLoot was really a roll with successful boxes in 2015, but 2016 is going to be an even better year.I highly suggest signing up for the summer – visit BrickLoot today!
